There were fine conditions for the first ever Bewl Water Trail Run and Picnic on Sunday 30th July. Grace reports: "I think it was such a successful day, we all really enjoyed the run and also the picnic. Such good company and a great idea." Jim said: "Nice to meet in a scenic location and talk running all afternoon." Everyone agreed they'd like to do it again soon!

Parkrun Milestone

Grace & parkrun friendsGrace & more parkrun friends

Today (22nd July) it was my 50th parkrun, writes Grace Manzotti. I know it is not much compared to other SAC members who have done over 100 but I started parkrun only last year when I joined SAC so I felt really happy today to have reached this milestone. Find attached a couple of photos of myself with some SAC friends. Jacqui kindly tried to pace me to a PB but because I already got one last week and one the previous week I didn't manage it as I didn't have anything left at the end! Phew! Still I really enjoyed it.
