Andrew Hutchinson was fastest and Graham Dwyer most consistent at the Knole House Relays organised by John Denyer on 3rd July. It was a great summer evening event in fine conditions enjoyed by all the participants. John writes:

Here are the full results for the Knole House Relay for you to mull over. Well done to our winning team of Laura, Simon and Marion who all ran very consistently throughout. It was I think our closest competition so far with just 34 sec covering the first 5 teams.

Recipients of awards above were Geoff Kitchener (T&F GP), Dan Witt (XC), Heather Fitzmaurice (XC), John Stephens (athletic achievement), Mike Allen (most improved GP), Lesley Knight, Keith Brown and Pauline Dalton (1st GP team), Andrew Milne and Suzy Claridge (2nd GP team), Andrew Hutchinson (handicap 1st), Simon Hallpke (handicap 3rd).

Only the toughest of the tough made it to today's trail run, writes Jim Knight. Excuses like "my legs hurt from my last marathon" and "I'm running London next weekend" were heard from the wimps. Those who attended were treated to a delightful, scenic, hilly 10.5 mile route led by Grazia.

PS. Lionel didn't wear the helmet on the run, but did have to ride home wearing his trail shoes.
