Juniors and Senior Women Excel at Knole XC

 

 

SAC teams of Senior, U15 and U13 women and U13 men contested the Kent League cross country on Sunday 16 November. Vicki White led home the seniors in 21st place, while the best run of the day was by Tabitha Adams who was first of the SAC U13 girls in 5th. Megan Hawes was first Sevenoaks U15 girl in 9th, while Jamie Monkhouse was first of our U13 boys in 11th. SAC junior results HERE and seniors HERE. Allan Wins KFL Swanley

 

 

Thirty SAC members took part in the first KFL cross country of the season at Swanley on 9 November, and Allan Lee (above) was the comfortable winner. Full results HERE.

David Ives Wins Kent Road Race Grand Prix

 

With third place in the Deal 5 on 2 November, David Ives (112 in picture) clinched the Kent GP title. David ran a fine 28:11. He was backed up by Geoff Vine 92nd in 34.02 (4th M60), Rob Carr 94th in 34.12, and David Simpson 341st in 53.57 for eleventh place in the men's team race. Full Deal results HERE. Vine Wins Again

 

Geoff Vine was first over-60 at the Wilmington 10k on 26 October. Full results HERE.

 

Lees Return for Mote XC

 

Allan and David Lee joined the team for the second Kent League XC at Mote Park on 25 October. Report HERE.

 

Xmas Party 6th December

 

Don't miss the Sevenoaks AC Christmas Dinner event on 6th Dec at St Julians Club, Sevenoaks. Drinks will be from 7.30pm, sit down at 8pm. The meal cost is £21.95 per person. The club will provide wine. Please email David Simpson as soon as possible to advise your attendance and menu selection. Jim Wins County 10k Champs

 

Jim Duffill won the M50s, David Ives was eighth overall, SAC men were 4th and Sally Shewell 7th best W45 in Kent at the Givauden 10k on 12 October. More info (including new photos on 19/10) HERE.

Chris Desmond led the men round in the first Cross Country of the season. Details HERE.

 

Four Trophies for SAC at Weald

Ives Fourth at Larkfield

Allan Wins Against Record Entry

 

Allan Lee comfortably won this year's big event against a huge field. Report and results HERE.

 

GP Win for Chris

 

Chris Desmond was first M45 in 37:02 and the SAC women's team of Carol Beadle (45:16), Sally Shewell (46:01) and Debbie Munton (48:59) was third in the Whitstable 10k GP race on 5 May. In addition, a five-man SAC team with a combined age of 296 contested the Ted Pepper 10k at West Wickham on the same day. Full report HERE. Whitstable photos HERE.

Vet Men Sixth Again at Deangate

 

Sevenoaks were sixth in the second match of the SCVAC at Deangate on 2 May. Highlights were second places for Lyndon Collins in the M50 3,000m and Geoff Vine in the M60 400m. SAC stay sixth after two matches. Full results HERE.

 

Sally second at Hastings 5

 

Sally Shewell was second F45 in 36:15 and Carol Beadle 9th F35 in 37:24 as both PB'd at the Hastings 5 on 27 April. Carol says: "conditions were perfect for runners. Out and back course along Hastings seafront towards St Leonards and back - very well organised, very well marshalled." Full results HERE.
