Jon Copping comfortably won the tenth race of the Sevenoaks AC 2018 handicap, and moved into the lead in the series with just two races remaining. The details are here. The next (penultimate) race, a five miler, is on 18 November.
Sylvia Lewis was first W65 as five SAC runners contested the Tonbridge 10k on 21st October. Recent joinee Alex Newby led our runners home. The Sevenoaks AC results were:

No fewer than fifteen SAC runners made the trip to Munich for an autumn Marathon on 14th October, while Courtney Harris ran in the half marathon, with results as follows:

The first match of the season was held at Nonington on 13 October but unfortunately, due to injury and other commitments such as Munich, we were only able to field two runners, writes James Graham. Chris Desmond was our only representative in the main men’s race and Richard Pitcairn-Knowles in the V70. The course was relatively flat, the weather warm and sunny, with a total absence of mud.
Chris was 141st and 10th M55, and Richard 7th M70. The full results are here.
