Simon Hallpike won the August handicap ahead of Sylvia Lewis with Suzy Claridge in third.
Suzy continues to lead the series with Simon a point behind in second and early leader Dan Witt now five points adrift in third.
Suzy was the fastest scoring woman but newcomer Julia Davis was faster. Andy Ashlee was the fastest overall.
The next race, over five miles, starts at the Sevenoaks School track at 08:30 on Sunday 19th September.

Bridgit Weekes overcame chronic knee issues to finish first W60 at the East Peckham 10k on 1 August, as four of SAC's more mature runners tackled one of the flatest courses in Kent. The event doubled as the SCVAC championships, providing plenty of age-category competition for the Sevenoaks runners. The previous two runnings of this race were in scorching conditions, but cloud and light rain prevailed so that PBs could have been possible for younger clubmates. As it was, the post-race conversations mainly featured health issues! Nevertheless, Bridgit's WMA score was around 81.5. The SAC results were as follows:

John Denyer won the July handicap race with a huge improvement over his previous time for the five mile course.

The next race, over seven miles, starts from the Sevenoaks School track at 08:30 on Sunday 29th August. It will be the 400th for which the club has records.
