Congratulations to Allan Lee from coach Jamie Philip after Allan went sub 16 at the Veterans AC Battersea Park 5k on 31st March 2026. Just after his 53rd birthday, Allan ran a superb 15.50 to rank No. 1 M50 in the UK in 2026.
Club record keeper Gary Walsh added: "Not only has Allan broken his own M50 road 5k club best, it’s the fastest ever road 5k in any age category by a SAC athlete! In fact, checking the track 5k bests as well, there’s only 1 faster 5k best by a SAC athlete…and that was set by Allan 25 years ago!"
