Eighteen SAC runners contested the annual SAC Mile Races on 18th July organised by John Denyer with timing and recording help from Andrew Mead and Graham Dwyer. In excellent conditions, six performances merited entry into the Club Best listings and of these five went to the top of the age listings - some by a significant margin.
The performances in the listings were: Liam McLaughlin 1st SM, Oloff Van Zyl 1st M55, Guillaume Nineven 2nd M35, Steve Hough 1st M50, Keith Dowson 2nd M60, John Denyer 1st M75, Lesley Knight 1st W70, Sylvia Lewis 2nd W70.
