Chris Desmond won the first race of the Sevenoaks AC 2025 handicap series. In cold conditions, Desmond was sixteen seconds clear of second place with a time of 39:04 for the hilly five mile course.
In second place, James Baker recorded 38:50 for the fastest time of the day, while Simon Hallpike ran 45:16 for third place. No handicaps were beaten by the small field.
The second race of the 2025 series, over the alternate seven mile distance, starts from the Sevenoaks School track at 08:30 on Sunday 9th February.
