1Vertical jump (Power)Stand next to a wall and measure the highest you can reach with your fingertips and mark on the wall. Next standing next to the wall (not facing the wall) jump as high as you can vertically and touch the wall with your fingertips. Measure the distance from the first mark to the second. 2Standing long jump (Power)Place both feet parallel behind a line. When ready leap forward. No steps backward or moving before you jump. To harness the power of your legs, squat deeply and swing those arms to drive you forward. Measure 3 times and send us your best. Measure in centimetres - more is better.Centimetres
 
3Line bounce (Speed)Mark a line on the ground. Stand next to the line. Speed bounce is a two footed jump in which the athlete takes off and lands on both feet. The athlete should cross the line as many times as possible within the allocated time of 20 seconds.Record your best score. Record number of bounces - more is better.Bounces
 
4Turnabouts (Endurance)Put 2 markers down 15 metres apart. Time how long it takes you to run back and forth 10 times. You must touch the cone each time. Measure in seconds - fewer is better. Seconds
 
5Wellington Throw (Strength)Standing behind a line and from a standing position (no run up) throw an adult Wellington boot (any colour) as far as you can. Away from windows and Greenhouses etc. Measure to where it lands not where it finishes up. Record your best score in centimetres - more is better. Centimetres
 
6Hops (Coordination)Put 2 markers down 10 metres apart. Count the number of hops it takes on your right leg to get from one marker to the other. Short rest then repeat on your left leg. The lesser the number of hops the better. Add the two numbers together and record your score. Record number of hops - fewer is better. Hops
